The Pier and the City

Our San Francisco trip continued with a tour of the city itself. First, we walked from the Railway Museum on Market Street to Pier 39 to see some fat lazy seals. We then boarded USS Pampanito, a World War II submarine now docked in the San Francisco Bay. That evening, we were joined by Nathaniel at the Exploratorium for the weekly After Dark.

The next day, we were truly a tourist—riding on the trolley, visiting Chinatown, climbing Coit tower, and seeing Lombard Street.
