California Highway 1

The Pacific coast in California is an amazing place. The entire coastline is accessible through the scenic Highway 1. When Akshat visited in April and Natalie visited in May, we drove down from Berkeley to the San Francisco coast, and then through Highway 1 to the hippie town of Santa Cruz. The highlight of the drive, in addition to the many vista points on cliffs and beaches, was surely the lighthouse at the tip of a small peninsula.
