Golden Gate Park

Golden Gate Park is a large park that extends from the centre of San Francisco to the western shore. Besides the large grass fields and tall sequoia trees, it hosts a lake with ducks and turtles, a historical population of bison, science and art museums, as well as the Japanese Tea Garden. It was Easter Sunday when we went, so the fields were filled with crowds in strange costumes. It being spring, the Tea Garden was blooming with cherry blossoms.
